Head of Marketing
At Aserto, we want to help every SaaS application become a great enterprise application.
For us, everything starts with engaging the communities that will benefit from our product. We want Aserto to be the tool that developers reach for when they build Authorization into their applications, whether it’s their next weekend project, or the next iteration of the authorization experience for the SaaS vendor they work for.
Aserto is hiring a Head of Marketing to help us nail the exciting phase ahead, as we launch our public beta and aggressively grow our user base. In this role, you will work closely with leadership to build and execute on a marketing strategy which builds Aserto’s brand and increases our reach to key developer communities and beyond. Aserto is a highly technical product geared towards developers, so bringing a degree of technical knowledge as well as an ability to communicate it will be key.
As our ideal candidate, you will develop a deep understanding of the personas we are trying to reach, construct our messaging and positioning, create our marketing funnel, drive demand, define and execute our content and event strategies, and refine our marketing operations. We are still early in this journey, so beyond the highly strategic mindset you’ll bring, you’ll also act fast with a relentless drive for execution.
You will be our team’s subject-matter expert on the latest industry themes, and deeply understand Aserto’s competitive landscape. As our primary resource for understanding existing and future customers' needs, you will craft detailed personas, articulate their pain-points, and construct the positioning and messaging that clearly identifies how Aserto will bring value over competitive options.
Engaging potential customers and developer communities will be key to our success, and you will own Aserto’s content and event strategy / execution, working closely with our Developer Advocate team to build brand awareness and increase industry buzz.
Architecting Aserto’s marketing operations will be a key focus of this position, and you will provide hands-on help with strategizing, instrumenting and analyzing Aserto’s marketing funnel. You will optimize our use of existing tools (Google Analytics, Hubspot) and expand our toolbox to support our goals.
